Savannah Adkins | Singer/songwriter from Katy, Texas
Savannah Adkins is a 16-year-old singer/songwriter from Katy, Texas and a junior in high school. Savannah mostly plays pop/country but sometimes likes to drift into other genres. She discovered the beauty of music a few years ago and it has driven her to want to share.
Right now, Savannah has been and still is playing for local restaurants like Wild Wing Cafe and Agave Rio. She has also performed at trade shows and festivals. Recently she performed at the Junk Hippy Vintage Market Road Show, Sweet Tea Vintage Market Road Show, Vintage Market Days of North West Houston, She performs for private parties and weddings. She has all so played for Winery’s and does open mics around town. She currently gives her time and talent to the 501 non-profit organization, Katy Rocks, that raises money to help underprivileged kids learn to play instruments.
In the summer of 2016 Savannah won the Acoustic Throw Down at Wild Wing Café in Katy, it was an 8-week competition where she went up with some really talented artists.
Aside from playing, Savannah practices Krav Maga, which is reality-based self-defense that has influenced some of her music, like her original “Throat Punch”. She’s also obsessed with the band Twenty One Pilots and likes to play a lot of their music.
